Privacy Statement
NPHire, LLC (“NPHire”) is committed to protecting your privacy. The following Privacy Statement applies to your use of NPHire Services as a candidate or employer or any person generally accessing NPHire’s website. NPHire Services include but are not limited to the use of the NPHire website and the NPHire portal. The Privacy Statement governs data collection and usage during performance of NPHire Services and by using NPHire Services, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
1. Definitions
- “You or Your” means all users of NPHire Services including nurse practitioner candidates and employers, and any person accessing NPHire’s website.
- “Authenticated Authorization” means providing authorization for the use (such as transmitting, processing, or releasing) of Information through a process that confirms your (or another relevant person’s) identity at the time of the authorization. This identification may be accomplished by written signature, passwords, challenge questions, tokens, biometrics or a combination thereof.
- “Express Consent” is the prior, knowing, voluntary Authenticated Authorization that you make for the release and disclosure of Information for a specific purpose and to a specific entity or individual. The specific information to be released is explicitly identified as part of this process. You provide Express Consent when you use our website and services to share, transfer, or publish certain information with other parties as described more fully below.
- “Information” means Non-Personal Information and Personally Identifiable Information as applicable or any combination thereof.
- “Non-Personal Information (“NPI”)” means any information that NPHire gathers as you navigate our website that is not identifiable to you, such as your browser type, pages viewed, and the time spent on the web site.
- “Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”)” is any information that uniquely identifies you or that you might consider highly confidential or sensitive. PII includes general account information, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, user name, password, social security number, EIN number, school, and personal security questions; education information, such as school transcripts, disciplinary records, and letters of recommendation; professional information, such as your curriculum vitae, resume, letters of recommendation, and board certifications; financial information, such as credit card information, bank account information used for payment of NPHire services; and demographic information such as your age, gender, weight, and height.
- “Protected Health Information (“PHI”)” is any of your personally identifiable health information that is traceable to you.
2. Protected Health Information
Information NPHire Collects
NPHire collects Information about users of NPHire Services depending on your status as a candidate or employer, or any person who accesses the NPHire website. Information is collected directly from you via mail, secure e-mail, secure digital submission, or direct entry into forms on NPHire’s website or NPHire portal. Information is also collected passively through common devices such as website cookies and log files. You are not permitted to enter or submit any data into our system that you know is inaccurate or incomplete.
Candidates: NPHire collection includes Personally Identifiable Information and Non- Personal Information.
- Personally Identifiable Information collected by NPHire may include general account information, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, user name, password, and personal security questions; education information, such as school, school transcripts, disciplinary records, and letters of recommendation; professional information, such as your curriculum vitae, resume, letters of recommendation, background checks, driver’s license information; and demographic information such as your age, gender, weight, and height; financial information, such as credit card information, bank account information used for payment of NPHire services.
- Non-Personal Information collected by NPHire includes information that NPHire gathers as you navigate our website that could not identify you, such as your browser type, pages viewed, and the time spent on the web site. In some cases, this information is collected automatically through cookies and stored in our log files. We use this information to monitor aggregate usage of our website and for internal analysis, quality control, and service improvement purposes. We explain more about how we gather that information in the section below “Website Monitoring.” You do not have rights of access, deletion, correction, and/or objection to use, sharing, processing in Non-Personal Information.
Employers: NPHire collection includes Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personal Information.
- Personally Identifiable Information collected by NPHire may include general account information, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, user name, password, company, job titles, open positions; and financial information, such as credit card information, bank account information used for payment of NPHire services.
- Non-Personal Information collected by NPHire includes information that NPHire gathers as you navigate our website that could not identify you, such as your browser type, pages viewed, and the time spent on the web site. In some cases, this information is collected automatically through cookies and stored in our log files. We use this information to monitor aggregate usage of our website and for internal analysis, quality control, and service improvement purposes. We explain more about how we gather that information in the section below “Website Monitoring.” You do not have rights of access, deletion, correction, and/or objection to use, sharing, processing in Non-Personal Information.
Persons accessing NPHire’s website, but not using other NPHire Services: NPHire collection includes Non-Personal Information.
Note: NPHire may use a third-party service provider to process financial transactions, such as credit card charges when establishing your account. Where a third-party service provider is used for this purpose, you acknowledge that the financial information collected may be stored by that third-party service provider and you consent to this process.
General Use of Information by NPHire (use, disclosure, storage, processing)
- NPHire will only share or disclose your Information as needed and only to those who are required for NPHire to perform the NPHire Services you have requested. For example, NPHire will disclose education information, CV, background check, school contact information, and driver’s license of a nurse practitioner candidates to a matched employer. NPHire will share employer information with candidates too. NPHire will not share or disclose your Information to any unaffiliated third parties without your express consent.
- Similarly, NPHire will only use, process, and store your Information as required for it to perform the NPHire Services you have requested and to improve the experience of those using its services. For example, NPHire will process and store your Information, such as general account information, in order to confirm the identities and credentials of account holders as they log in to NPHire. NPHire may process and store your financial information in order to process payment for NPHire Services. NPHire may process and store your Information in order to monitor aggregate usage of our website and for internal analysis, quality control, and service improvement purposes.
- Under certain circumstances, NPHire may be compelled to disclose Personally Identifiable Information to satisfy a court order, a duly executed and validly issued subpoena, or a government request by an agency with competent jurisdiction as part of a regulatory compliance review, in which case we will use reasonable and lawful efforts to limit the scope of any legally required disclosure. NPHire will also make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of that disclosure, unless doing so would violate the law or the court order.
Your Personal Information
- Authenticate your use of NPHire’s website, private portal, and services

- Share your records with third party affiliates for the purpose of carrying out the service
Third Party Services; Sites
- While You use the Service, You may find out about or have the opportunity to utilize services or products provided by other companies that may not be related to Us (“Third Party Services”). For example, We may use an unrelated Third Party Service for credit card processing and provide access to this Third Party Service through the website. If You decide to use Third Party Services, You are responsible for reviewing and understanding any terms and conditions governing such Third Party Services. You agree that the company providing the Third Party Services, and not Us, is solely responsible for the Third Party Services. The Service may contain links to web sites operated by other companies (“Third Party Sites”). We do not control Third Party Sites and We are not responsible for the content of, or any links in, any Third Party Site. We do not review, approve, monitor, or make any representations with respect to Third Party Sites. If We include any link in the Service it does not mean that there is an affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, approval, investigation, verification of anything in any Third Party Site. We will not be responsible for the information contained in any Third Party Site or for Your use of or inability to use such web site. Access to any Third Party Site is at Your own risk, and You acknowledge and understand that Third Party Sites may contain terms and privacy policies that are different from this Agreement. We are not responsible for such provisions, and expressly disclaims any liability for them.
Security
- We take seriously the trust you place in us to protect the privacy of your Personally Identifiable Information. We have implemented a series of safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, to maintain data integrity, and to ensure that only authorized persons who need to access your Personal Information can do so.
- For example, NPHire stores Personally Identifiable Information on one or more secure servers and has implemented measures to protect against unauthorized access. Users have restricted access to ONLY the data that they have permission to access. User access to personal accounts is controlled by using one or more Authenticated Authorization practices such as, for example, one-way encrypted passwords.
Potential Use of Aggregated De-identified Data
- NPHire may combine and aggregate Personally Identifiable Information from a sufficiently large group of individuals in a non-individually identifiable format to create “Aggregated De-Identified Data” when NPHire has the right to do so. Aggregated De-Identified Data does not contain any information that could be used to contact or identify you and is not personally identifiable to you and is not created from Personal Information that we are not permitted to use (for example because you have not given us your consent or Express Consent (where applicable) to do so). Aggregated De-Identified Data may be used by NPHire for our legitimate business purposes, so long as those purposes wouldn’t negatively impact you in an unfair manner.
Request for Voluntary Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information
- You may choose to voluntarily disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to third-party service providers. We urge you to make such disclosure choices carefully. If you choose to use your Personal Account to voluntarily disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to any individual or entity other than you, you must provide Express Consent that identifies the specific information to be released and to whom it is to be released. NPHire will not release or disclose any portion of your Personally Identifiable Information without your Express Consent and assumes no responsibility or liability for any such release as directed by your Express Consent. We encourage you to read the privacy policies and statements of any third-party service providers, or other entities, with whom you direct us to disclose your Personal Information.
What You Can Do to Protect Your Personally Identifiable Information
- Protecting your Information also requires your compliance with certain basic security practices. We cannot secure any Personally Identifiable Information that you release on your own, that you request us to release or that is released through another third party to whom you give account access.
- You must safeguard your user name, password and other authentication information that you use to access our services. Do not disclose this information to any individual, third party or entity. Please immediately notify NPHire if you think there has been any unauthorized use of your user name, password or other authentication information.
Your Rights: Access, Update, Correct, Delete
- To the extent available through NPHire’s website or NPHire portal, you may access Personally Identifiable Information in your account at any time through the website. For example, you may update your Personal Account Information at any time by accessing your Personal Account and making any necessary changes. For other Information not available through the website, you must request access by e-mailing Customer Support at support@nphire.com or calling at (470) 876-7608.
- To the extent possible, you may ask us to correct your Personally Identifiable Information. You may request a copy of information stored in your account, which we will provide to you in a common format, which is easy for you to use. You may also object to how we are using your Information and ask us to stop. As a reminder, we will comply with your request, but if there are other legitimate reasons for us to continue to process or use your Personally Identifiable Information (and those reasons would not seriously impact your rights or freedoms), we may still be able to do so. Any written request for correction or access to data that is denied will result in an explanation in writing.
- When you request us to inactivate your account and your identity is verified, we will cease to display your Personally Identifiable Information on our website and will stop processing it, but it may be stored for a period of time. Please be aware that while this information will no longer be accessible to someone using your account over the Internet, it will be retained for the period of time in backup media, but unless we need to retain information to comply with applicable laws, any backup retention is generally no longer than 30 days. If you request deletion of your Personally Identifiable Information that we are required by applicable law to retain, we will inform you. This information shall be made available pursuant to a duly executed authenticated authorization to release medical records. In some cases, NPHire may be allowed to apply a charge equal to the administrative, copying and communication costs for the retrieval, preparation and transmission of the information requested.
Use of NPHire Services
- As we mentioned above, if you do not consent to NPHire’s privacy practices, you cannot use our service. You may withdraw your consent by inactivating your account as described in the section entitled “Your Rights: Access, Update, Correct, Delete.”
Changes to this Privacy Statement
- NPHire may modify this Privacy Statement at any time. Changes will be posted on this website. We will update the effective date at the top of this Privacy Statement.
Website Monitoring: Non-Personal Information
- NPHire gathers certain Non-Personal Information about your use of our website through log files and cookies. The techniques we use and their implications for your privacy are described below.
- Log Files: When you access our site, our system automatically collects certain information about you for our logs. This data may include your browser type, your computer’s IP address, your Internet Service Provider, operating system, date and time you visited our site, and a list of the pages you visited. We use this information to analyze usage trends, administer the site, and gather demographic information about our members as a whole. It is not designed to identify you personally. However, under certain circumstances we may need to review this information in conjunction with specific Personal Account Information in order to identify and resolve certain issues for our members.
- Cookies: NPHire uses a web technology, referred to as cookies, to make it easier for you to navigate our site, improve the security of your Personally Identifiable Information, enhance the functionality of some features, and improve performance. These cookies are only applicable within the confines of our site. NPHire uses both session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your computer. These cookies act as a user identification card for our servers. Cookies are only read by our computers and are unable to execute any code or virus. You can remove persistent cookies by following the directions provided in your Internet browser’s help file. However, if you set your browser security setting to reject all cookies, you may not be able to access certain portions of our web site. Communications From NPHire
- From time to time, NPHire will contact enrollees to inquire about requests, the quality of services received and to alert you about service updates. If you have opted-in to receiving such promotional marketing communications, any such communications sent via email will be sent to the address provided in your Personal Account Information and will include a link for opting out of future marketing communications.

- Further, I understand that individual state medical board licensing requirements may change at any time. And therefore, I have completed my due diligence regarding the states in which I wish to apply for licensing and have come to my own determination whether or not the jobs offered by NPHire are best suited for me. By engaging and allowing NPHire to provide job opportunities for me, I hereby hold NPHire harmless from any and all results and decisions that the state licensing board and/or further employers to which I am considering and applying make on my application(s) as I recognize decisions made on my application are not guaranteed by NPHire.
My Participation
- I indemnify hold harmless the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of my participation in this activity or job search, whether caused by negligence of release or otherwise.
- The release of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

- By engaging and allowing NPHire to send candidates to join our company, I hereby hold NPHire harmless from the results and decisions that the state licensing board and/or further education programs to which I am considering and applying make on my application(s) as I recognize decisions made on my application are not guaranteed by NPHire.
My Participation
